Meet Abigail
A maker who works across paper, stage, and screen
Abigail Baird is a physical storyteller with roughly twenty years of practice across puppetry, animation, and aerial acrobatics. She holds an MFA in Puppet Arts from the University of Connecticut, where she now directs online puppetry education. Whether she is cutting paper by hand, leading a room of first-time makers, or hanging mid-air in front of a projected story, the throughline is the same: making the improbable feel possible.
